Planning and Delivery Manager - Salary £40,000 - £60,000
This role is an opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery. You will be working across the business to assess feasibility of projects, using inputs from multiple sources, including clinical, claims, commercial, and analytics teams - this will drive the Department's business plan and pipeline. As projects progress to delivery, you will project manage these, in line with Aviva's change framework, to successfully deliver.
A bit about the job:
As a growing business with 1.2m+ customers, Aviva Health has an ambitious change agenda. Our Procurement and Outsourcing department contracts with and manages hospitals, practitioners and third party suppliers to seamlessly deliver customer care. You will be the change agent for the Procurement & Outsourcing department including developing and assessing the business plan and project pipeline for the department, setting an annual roadmap and an agenda for 3-5 years, and working across the business to evaluate candidate projects, facilitating input across key subject matter experts (SMEs). You will also be the project delivery lead for key strategic initiatives, managing projects to a successful conclusion to meet business aims. Aviva operates a "smart-working" policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role can be based from any of our UK sites.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
1. Strong project planning, facilitation, and delivery knowledge, paired with good reporting skills.
2. Track record of managing cross-business initiatives, working with internal teams and third parties to deliver a successful outcome.
3. Evidence of developing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
Project, Programme or Change Management qualifications (Prince 2, PMP, MSP, etc) would be desirable. Experience of the private medical insurance market and/or a good understanding of the UK Health system would be desirable.

2. Starting salary between £40,000 and £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
