Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Support Manager to provide high-level administrative and business support to Dorking Community Services and Ranmore Ward at Dorking Hospital. In this autonomous role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager, Ranmore Ward Manager, and Community Services Clinical Leads to ensure seamless administrative operations. Key responsibilities include managing administrative staff (Bands 2-4), maintaining high data quality standards, compiling reports, and utilizing Systm1 to support clinical services across local GP practices, community care, and the Ranmore rehabilitation ward. Main Duties of the Job:
To autonomously provide proactive, comprehensive, and high-level administrative support to both the Dorking Community Services and Ranmore Ward at Dorking Hospital, functioning independently and without direct supervision. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Ranmore Ward Manager, and Community Services Clinical Leads to ensure the seamless coordination of administrative and business functions. The role requires the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and support the senior team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with an in-depth understanding of Systm1, the clinical system used by local GP practices, Dorking community clinical services, and the Ranmore rehabilitation ward. Key responsibilities will include compiling reports, ensuring high standards of data quality management, and supporting the senior management team. Additionally, this role involves managing Band 2-4 administrative staff. This description outlines the primary duties of the role and is not intended to be exhaustive.
