We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to join our client, who are a leading specialist in their industry and have customers all around the world. Our client is looking for someone who has a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background with lean management knowledge.

Some of the responsibilities will include:
1. Covering the maintenance manager position when the maintenance manager is off duty or engaged with other specific missions like projects.
2. Assisting the manager to manage the team (electrical and mechanical technicians) of 6 employees.
3. Working on the day-to-day maintenance activities (preventive and corrective).
4. Working with the Central Maintenance Management System (CMMS) manager to schedule the maintenance activities.
5. Analyzing the CMMS data to move from corrective to preventive and even predictive maintenance, while analyzing maintenance data to optimize maintenance strategies and performance.
6. Reinforcing, promoting & reviewing safe working practices with the team.
7. Helping the maintenance manager to monitor individual performance.
8. Contributing to the establishment of the yearly maintenance plan and to the HQ reporting (Monthly Business Review).
Our client is looking for you to have the following:
1. Hydraulic asset and maintenance knowledge.
2. Able to read a PID, as-built drawings, and electrical drawings.
3. Capacity to work safely even during emergencies.
4. Capable of negotiating prices for maintenance spare parts, as well as contractor management.
5. Management of teams to monitor performance and safety compliance.
6. Detailed and expert understanding of the plant process and the contractual obligations.
7. Good understanding of IMS standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001).
8. SCADA knowledge is essential and strong computer skills.
