Job summary Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology Medicine We are delighted to be able to invite consultants to apply to work with us within the dynamic Diabetes and Endocrinology department in Scarborough. The department currently provides a variety of outpatient services from the Scarborough, Bridlington and Malton site, including pumps, antenatal, transition, renal, feet etc. We are committed to improving our performance through a range of innovations and are seeking colleagues who are inspired to drive through service change and achieve improvements in outcomes for our patients. Main duties of the job We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who will work well within our diverse and friendly team to develop inpatient and outpatient services. In line with service provision discussions, there may be scope for additional programmed activities, which will be clarified during the recruitment process for potential candidates. We welcome whole-time, part-time or job share applications and we are committed to supporting flexible job plans and will work with you to mutually agree your activity commitment. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the General Medicine on-call rota. We are also developing proposals to accommodate cross site working within the Trust in certain sub-specialties.
