About the role: We are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, for mornings only, to assist and support teaching and learning, provide for general care, safety and welfare of pupils and work with individuals or groups of pupils (year group to be discussed in interviews). The start date will be Monday 28th April 2025 – or as close to this as possible if notice needs to be given. Working hours for this position of TA2 are Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. - 12.20 p.m. The postholder will also be required to fulfil the role of a daily Midday Supervisor, 12.20 p.m. – 1.20 p.m. Key Requirements: • Hold a recognised and relevant NVQ qualification or have undertaken other appropriate training and be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience and skills. • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades A – C. • Have good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing to others. • Be able to take direction but prepared to work independently and show initiative when required • Experience of TA work. • Be well organised and work as part of a team. • Fulfil the requirements of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
