Please note: The successful candidate can be located in and around the Kent, Canterbury, Surrey area and must hold a valid driver's license and your own transport to enable property site visits. The role is a part time position, with flexibility on exact working days/hours for the right candidate.
As the Property Coordinator you will:
1. Day-to-day management of tenants, including addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
2. Coordination of property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with safety standards.
3. Ensuring properties meet all necessary compliance requirements.
4. Handling day-to-day tenant issues and grievances.
5. Providing regular feedback and updates to clients on their property assets and tenant satisfaction.
6. Reviewing rental rates and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
7. Facilitating the re-letting process for vacant properties, including advertising, tenant screening, and lease negotiations.
8. Conducting regular property inspections to assess condition and identify any maintenance or safety concerns.
9. Assist with the successful delivery of business support services to your specific area of the business whilst developing your understanding of the tasks and actions required.
10. Utilising DM systems and processes to deliver business support services and proactively seeking support and training where necessary from key stakeholders.
11. Begin to develop an understanding of your client/business area requirements and look to utilise the DM systems, processes and resources available to support them efficiently.
12. Develop positive working relationships with DM colleagues and demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills.
13. Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies in own area of responsibility.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in an administration/coordination role, ideally within the property sector (Estate/Lettings agency or similar).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Knowledge of relevant landlord-tenant laws and regulations is highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
A valid driver's license and your own transport is essential to enable property site visits.
