Main duties of the job
As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will be:
* Providing high-quality patient care, ensuring their welfare, safety, and comfort.
* Collaborating with doctors, surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless treatment.
* Managing patient admissions, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring all documentation is completed.
* Monitoring patient progress, planning new interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
* Maintaining accurate records in both paper and electronic formats.
* Supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants to foster a strong team environment.
* Ensuring compliance with infection control policies, health & safety regulations, and hospital standards.
* Participating in audits, training, and staff development, continuously improving clinical practices.
About us
You will be a NMC Registered Nurse with at least one year of post-registration experience, with:
* Experience working in a surgical or inpatient setting.
* Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
* Awareness of Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Quality Standards.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to patient care.
