Description
This finance role is to assist the Controller to oversee the company's accounting principles, practices, and procedures
regarding the maintenance of fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports, assisting with various tasks across
accounts payable and receivable functions.
Education & Experience :
Essential Professional Financial Qualification, ACCA, CIMA, AAT qualified or part qualified. Have previous 2+ years' experience working in Finance environment.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
Accounts Receivable
Issuing and follow up on customer invoices.
Issuing credit notes as required.
Issuing Customer statements.
Collection of accounts receivable and resolution of queries.
Liaison with service department to ensure timely monthly invoicing.
Accounts Payable
Responsible for accounts payable including timely payment to suppliers.
Liaison with internal & external customers on resolution of queries.
Creating new suppliers.
General Accounting
Assist the controller with monthly/yearly financial closing and issuance of financial statements.
Assist with the on-going monitoring of cash flow and working capital.
Work closely with Controller to prepare and submit information to statutory authorities including HMRC.
Maintain strong internal controls.
Assist with Balance sheet account reconciliation.
Provide ad hoc reporting and presentation support as required.
Managing petty cash expenses
General Administration.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
