Job Duties:
* Assisting with the care and supervision of children in a nursery or educational setting
* Supporting the lead teacher in delivering educational activities
* Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
* Helping with meal times, nappy changes, and other basic care tasks
* Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* First Aid certification
Education:
GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with children in a nursery or school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Patience and empathy when dealing with children
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* Additional training in SEN (Special Educational Needs) support
Working Conditions:
* Fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Regular interaction with children, parents, and other staff members
* Some physical activity required, such as bending, lifting, and kneeling

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
