Duties as a Humanities Teacher:
1. Deliver high-quality, thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3/4/5.
2. Foster curiosity and critical thinking through engaging teaching and cross-curricular connections.
3. Adapt lessons to suit a range of learning needs, encouraging independent learning and debate.
4. Assess and monitor progress, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
5. Contribute to the development of curriculum content and enrichment activities such as trips, clubs, or themed days.
Ideal Humanities Teacher:
1. Holds QTS and a relevant degree in a Humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, RE, etc.).
2. Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for their field.
3. Can create a positive and inclusive classroom environment as a Humanities Teacher.
4. Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
5. Is committed to academic excellence and student progress.
