Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of quality control? We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Control Manager to lead our team in Cambridge, ON. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional passionate about ensuring excellence in quality standards while supporting critical projects in the nuclear industry.
As our Quality Control Manager, you will oversee the Quality Control (QC) and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) processes, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards. You will lead a talented team of QC Supervisors and NDE Managers, addressing quality issues, collaborating with departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead with Excellence: Manage QC and NDE activities, ensuring products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Build a Strong Team: Recruit, train, and mentor QC staff, fostering a culture of quality and safety.
* Innovate Processes: Monitor and enhance the performance of the QC and NDE departments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with teams to identify quality-related issues and implement effective solutions.
* Ensure Compliance: Support external audits and maintain quality control records to meet industry regulations.
* Enhance Supplier Quality: Oversee incoming inspections and ensure supplier compliance with our quality standards.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A college diploma or university degree in Engineering, Technology, or Quality.
* At least 10 years of experience in quality management, particularly in nuclear manufacturing and familiarity with ASME Codes, CSA N299, and ISO standards.
* Strong leadership skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, along with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $133,000 and $184,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
