The Team Manager Operational Competence and Delivery is responsible for overseeing and coordinating operational excellence, safety compliance, and workforce development within their assigned region. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and competency. The Team Manager will be responsible for competency management, overseeing competency assurance programs within the region and coordinating training initiatives to enhance team capabilities. They will also handle operational planning and execution, efficiently planning and delivering plant protection and survey workloads while ensuring all operations are completed within compliance timeframes. Health and Safety compliance is a critical aspect of this role. The Team Manager will enforce adherence to Health and Safety legislation and company policies, as well as implement and maintain safety protocols across all regional operations. How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm… Manage employee training programs, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping. Coordinate with managers and assessors to schedule training, onboarding, and competency inspections. Mitigate compliance risks through forecasting and planning. Generate and interpret training-related Management Information for the Region. Oversee survey and plant protection requirements within budget and timelines. Effectively analyse and act on operational data. Maintain accurate records and reports of training data and competence assurance. Communicate any risks to competence assurance and training programs to regional stakeholders. Deliver regular performance and compliance status reports to senior management. Uphold GDPR compliance in all data handling and reporting activities. Ensure timely data pass-back for survey and plant protection to meet required compliance deadlines.
