Job summary To lead, manage and develop the Arthur Rank Hospice at Home service across Cambridgeshire, supporting the South Team, through collaborative working with ARH HR teams. To work as a clinical expert (and to work as an independent non-medical prescriber for the Hospice at Home Team, ensuring timely access to prescribed medication in the management of complex symptoms if qualified to do so). To ensure effective rostering of staff to maintain a safe and responsive Hospice at Home service across Cambridgeshire. Act as an expert senior nurse both for the Hospice at Home team and when needed the wider hospice service. To work closely with the Hospice at Home Matron/ Clinical Services Director in evaluating the service and establishing new ways of working to drive productivity and maintain high quality care. To provide clinical expertise in teaching both informally and for formal teaching sessions. To support and develop palliative care in all settings by contributing to the education and training of health, social care staff and others. To contribute to the further development of palliative care services across the charity. To build strong relationship with external partners and stakeholders e.g. local trusts, ICS.
