Job Purpose:
You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with in-store colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. You will use your people skills to help maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store. You will also carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.
This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week. You need to be available to work shifts between 1 pm and 5 pm from Monday to Friday. Additionally, some Saturday shifts (8 am to 4 pm) will be on a rotational basis, with time off in lieu. Please note that you may be required to work out of our Eastleigh Branch occasionally.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Participate in engagement planning & monthly store meetings.
2. Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, informed conversation, and personalized proposals.
3. Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
4. Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
5. Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor.
6. Load the van and plan delivery routes.
7. Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do the same using our training tools.
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in a customer service or retail role.
* Valid driving license.
* Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
* Remains calm under pressure.
