Operating, leading, managing and supporting three teams supporting the wider MoD Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement Directorate: Eligibility, Information Services & Ex Gracia.
Providing Operational expertise, management, and support to Defence Business Services Defence Afghan Resettlement and Relocation services responding to enquiries and requests for support in relation to elements of DBS Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement and Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy.
The role is fluid in its requirements and responsibilities.
The aim is to ensure timely delivery & support in relation to Defence Business Services Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement.
Operational oversight of three teams ensuring responses are sent out in timely fashion. Using knowledge and experience of operational delivery to respond to volume enquiries and how best to respond, break down and prioritise actions.
Working with Management Information leads review and report on Management Information including; (list is not exhaustive)
Demand levels including breakdown of demand types.
Demand volumes concluded.
Response times – including responding to ones that are ‘priority’.
Using initial Management Information, data and trends – determine and agree potential Key Performance Indicators’s/Goals/Objectives/Service Level Agreements.
Engage with wider Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement directorate on related schemes for updates on process and/or policy and use this information to further update internal processes, policy, customer responses.
Engage with Defence Afghan Resettlement and Relocation Policy/Legal/Secretariat teams in relation to legal challenges or correspondence coming in to Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement and to support responses to queries.
Liaise with HMRC Team Leads in relation to performance of HMRC Surge staff.
