On successful completion of your four-year apprenticeship, you will achieve a Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance as well as the Level 3 Food and Drink Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship which is recognized across the world. Over the course of four years you will be guided every step of the way by our expert engineers and mentors. You’ll immerse yourself in learning about the engineering processes at our factories that cater to global demand. You’ll explore how complex manufacturing and process equipment work, and how we diagnose and resolve issues, all while keeping the whole operation running like clockwork. Working in a live environment you will be empowered to make decisions with confidence. Plus, you’ll get hands-on experience with some of the most sophisticated equipment currently used in food manufacturing. Career progression An apprenticeship is the beginning of an exciting career journey at Nestlé. Once you have completed the programme, your Line Manager will work with you to explore different career directions. Entry requirements You’ll need Maths and English Language GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-4 (A-C if taken before 2017), but just as important is that you’re ready to commit 100% to developing your career. You will need to be 18 years old by 1st August 2025 and additionally you also need to have the right to work in the UK that is not time limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.
