The Project Co-ordinator will provide support in helping to deliver projects to clients, ensuring work follows Dalcour Maclaren's Project Management methodologies (DM standards).
Working closely with the Environment and Planning (E&P) team, the Project Co-ordinator will assist in documenting and coordinating tasks and processes and help with team communication to meet deadlines and KPIs.
The Project Co-ordinator will assist the team with tracking key project metrics, including financial performance, resource allocation, and service quality. They will work with the team to ensure project outcomes align with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with members of the E&P team to understand and map out workflows including specific tasks and processes – this may require travel to various offices across the UK to meet with individual members of the team.
* Identify opportunities for standardisation and efficiencies.
* Create process documents for E&P workflows in collaboration with the DM standards team, covering various disciplines such as planning, EIA, ecology, archaeology, etc.
* Understand proposed company standards and communicate this feedback to the E&P team, developing appropriate guidelines to ensure compliance.
* Meet regularly with the DM standards team and E&P success representative during mapping of E&P workflows.
* Assist with quoting, time recording, WIP, forecasting, billing, and debt management on E&P projects.
* Report on the financial health of E&P projects in collaboration with the Finance team.
* Assist the team in identifying and reporting on resource risk and utilisation.
* Document and map all existing E&P processes.
* Conduct quality control reviews and implement improvements as necessary.
* Manage changes within projects, ensuring that change control processes are followed and align with the project’s strategic objectives.
* Implement a stakeholder management and communication plan across the projects in line with company standards.
* Identify, assess, and report project risks.
* Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
* Contribute to the business-wide lessons learned process, sharing insights from client projects to improve future workflow project delivery.
