Job Description Aerospace Cost Project Lead UK - Derby An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aerospace Cost Project Lead for our Indianapolis, IN location. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and management of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a program/ project by providing clear line of sight on the schedule and planning status and performance to deliver the customer requirements using a structured governance process. You will also develop a high level of scheduling capability within the planning community supporting training, coaching and facilitating the plan creators to establish & maintain high quality plans and their execution of these in accordance with the program / project requirements. Key Accountabilities: Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work and establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work and provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules Organize, chair and schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made and the implementation of company management processes is effective and efficient Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the project management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods Contribution to the local project management community of practice Basic Requirements: Associate’s degree and experience in Supply chain engineering program mgmt., manufacturing, technology or business, OR Bachelor’s degree and of experience in Supply chain engineering program mgmt., manufacturing, technology or business, OR Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD, OR experience in Supply chain engineering program mgmt., manufacturing, technology or business In order to be considered for this position for location based in the US, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred Requirements: Member of a professional body and working towards a PMP qualification or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Create the new standard.
