We're delighted to be working with one of the UK's specialist engineering firms, seeking to employ a driven and motivated Technical Sales Engineer.
You will help to maintain/secure new and existing business from across the South of the UK, focusing on high growth customers within chemical, pharma, scientific and energy. With such a diverse customer base, engineering experience in any market would be considered and the ability to learn new skills whilst in role.
You will have experience writing proposals, visiting clients and be confident in selling to senior management and technically focused decision makers - a good majority of this role will be focused on new business acquisition whilst also managing existing accounts.
Ideally you will have an engineering or technical sales background, with the ability to understand the bigger picture and ascertain client needs and desires through strong communication skills.
Working predominantly from their Huntingdon office, you will need to have a driver's license, 2-3 years sales experience and some engineering or technical sales background. A degree is not required and we invite applications from candidates with varying levels of experience, as the role could equally suit a more experienced candidate looking for a locally based opportunity.
This is an exciting role offering 25% travel, excellent package (including car allowance and bonus), management of a large and profitable territory and the potential for career growth.
