The role involves working in the award-winning Warrington Market food court called Cookhouse.
The food court is highly successful and opens 361 days a year up to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday evenings and Bank Holidays.
We can have between 8,000 and 10,000 people through Cookhouse on a busy Summer's day, so ensuring the seating area is kept clean and tidy and crockery and cutlery are cleaned and fit for reuse as soon as possible is a priority.
We also run events on a regular basis such as musical tribute and comedy nights, which again can be very busy.
The role
You will be rostered over a 7-day period, but this will be mainly weekend work when we are at our busiest.
You will need to be available up to 23:30 on Fridays and Saturdays and 19:30 on Sundays and weekdays.
The job involves cleaning tables, disposing of food waste and refuse, and clearing crockery and cutlery to our back of house area on trolleys provided, and then promptly loading and unloading our commercial dishwashers to ensure there is a quick turnaround back to traders for reuse.
It will also involve stacking chairs at the end of each night to enable a full clean of the floor the following morning and ensuring the outside seating area is litter picked and kept tidy.
What's needed?
You must have a reasonable level of physical fitness and good customer care skills.
As well as a competitive salary, working for us means you get:
* 26 days annual holiday - raising to 31 after 5 years of service (pro-rata)
* Access to our attractive and competitive benefits package
* Access to our Health & Wellbeing Programme
* Uniform/safety equipment
