A new opportunity is available for a Bookkeeper to join a successful Accountancy Practice on a full-time basis. This is a role based in central Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant office and team and will work closely with the Accountant to ensure an excellent service is delivered to a range of the practice's clients.
Key responsibilities:
1. Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts
2. Accurately storing and recording data
3. Producing financial statements - income and expenditure
4. Paying invoices
5. Tracking account balances
6. VAT returns
7. Reconciling accounts and making the Accountant aware of discrepancies when required
8. Cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet
9. Employee wages
10. Expense claims
11. Assisting with year-end as needed by the Accountant
