We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our Children's Mental Health Service in Coalville. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of high-quality mental health services for children and young people in the area. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people.
The ideal person for this Registered Manager - Mental Health will:
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a mental health setting, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
3. Experience working with children and young people in a mental health capacity
4. Knowledge of current legislation and regulations related to mental health services for children and young people
5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and external agencies
7. Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
8. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
9. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Your Responsibilities will include:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children's Mental Health Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
2. Provide leadership and support to a team of mental health professionals and support staff
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
4. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the service operates within financial constraints
5. Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to promote collaboration and effective service delivery
6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the service
7. Ensure the service meets all necessary standards and requirements for registration and inspection
8. Participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff members
9. Keep up-to-date with developments and best practices in the field of children's mental health and implement changes as necessary
