Job Title: Facilities Engineer (Temporary)

Our client, a dynamic organisation in the automotive sector, is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis. Responsibilities:
Define project requirements and scope of works
Coordinate tender scope with suppliers and evaluate tenders to achieve funding approval
Support the purchasing process for tender nomination
Generate planning and building control submissions
Monitor suppliers to ensure project delivery aligns with agreed plansKey Deliverables:
Create and manage project plans to ensure timely completion
Oversee building projects to ensure safe and high-quality work
Provide progress reports to our client via phone, email, or in-person meetingsSkills/Experience:
Strong construction project management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Automotive business experience preferred
Knowledge of civil engineering, including building construction methods and planning permission process
Familiarity with mechanical engineering, including steelwork construction and installations
Understanding of electrical engineering, including power transmission and distribution systems
Knowledge of health and safety legislation
Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholdersPractical & Technical Knowledge:
Proven track record of successful project delivery
Understanding of construction processes and guidelines for effective planning and site management
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple building projects within budget and deadlines
Attention to detail for effective safety and construction work checks
