What you'll do:
We are looking for experienced Care Assistants with previous healthcare experience and experience supporting children with additional health needs in their family home and community settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a rewarding role supporting a delightful young child who has a diagnosis of Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy; you will work alongside a Nurse/Senior Carer managing her complex health needs whilst enabling full and enriched social engagements. The senior team members will lead in the management of the child’s respiratory interventions (Ventilation, OP/NP Deep Suction) and Seizure Management. The team of Carers play a valuable role in supporting the Nurse/Lead Carer in oral suction as required and additional therapy interventions, sensory play, physio and moving and handling.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life whilst working within a caring family home. Our client loves to interact with her siblings and enjoys various leisure activities with her family and care team.
Qualifications:
What you'll need:
You will be required to have experience in Health and Social care, particularly deep suctioning. Previous experience in complex care is essential as well as plenty of care, compassion, and resilience.
