Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and articulate Engineering Stores Person to join the team at C & D Foods. Working in a busy engineering workshop, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the team, ensuring the department has accurate consumables and that parts are managed in time and available when needed. You will analyse data to reduce downtime and improve KPI’s. As part of your role, you will need to learn the processes across the plant and understand the assets with standardisation. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing parts and liaising with suppliers to attain the best prices and quotes for benchmarking
* Placing orders
* Maintaining stores and stock records and rotation
* Maintain all records of Spares Quotations
* Placing engineering orders onto the Pragma system
* Monitor and maintain engineering stock levels
* Work with Engineers to understand process needs
* Maintain hygiene chemical and consumables stock
* Enter manual work sheets on the CMMS System and issue as required
* Liaising with 3rd party contractors as required
* Work with Bearing boy’s to ensure Invend service is delivering as it should for site
* Maintain COSHH register & assessments
* Support the site roll out of SUSA Program
* Help drive the hazard reporting program, and maintain closeout of identified hazards
* Enter weekly utility data
* Support with planning and work allocation for Engineers
* Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met at all times and take an active part in the health & safety committee
* Comply with all company policies and procedures
* Any other reasonable duties as required by the company
Key Performance Measures:
* Timely and accurate recording of all parts issued and stock levels
* Timely and accurate ordering of parts required by the maintenance team
* Good level of accuracy of engineering stock
* Complete audit trail of PPE requested and issued
Personal Competencies and Qualifications:
* Good level of IT literacy
* Experience of working with MRP / MMS systems previously (desirable)
* Good Analytical Skills

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
