We are looking for two enthusiastic, hardworking individuals with a keen interest in marketing to join our friendly team as Marketing Assistants.
About the Role
As a key member of the Marketing and Sales team you will help to deliver the annual marketing plan using a combination of traditional and digital media, communicating to both internal and external audiences. This includes supporting the wider Marketing team with a variety of different tasks across multiple platforms including email marketing, website updates and social media.
This role is a great opportunity for recent marketing graduates and individuals with some marketing experience looking to build their career in marketing. You will gain experience with a wide variety of marketing activity, across all of ESPO’s varied products and services, as well as multiple brands.
You will use your creativity and attention to detail to support the team with a hands-on approach and have the ability to work across multiple projects at any one time.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Support the marketing team to implement the marketing plan across all ESPO brands; working across traditional and digital media, ensuring plans are delivered in a timely manner.
2. Ensuring the ESPO websites are kept up to date by creating content and building blogs, landing pages and other webpages in line with campaigns.
3. Assist with the planning and support the execution of all types of events including exhibitions, online events and webinars, among others. This may include gathering print and merchandise quotes, following up with customers and helping to create event content.
4. Work closely with Marketing Officers to help plan, create and schedule engaging social media posts across all ESPO brands. These will be created across organic and paid posts using both video and static content. This will also include co-ordinating/supporting the recording of ESPO staff and products in-line with campaign plans to create engaging posts, reels, stories and videos that can be used online.
5. Support internal communications by updating ESPO’s internal staff newsletter and creating and distributing posters, and other relevant communications, throughout the organisation.
6. Co-ordinate and lead on a number of administrative tasks including mail out of promotional packs, manning the Communications inbox, updating and uploading documents onto the website, and ordering/organising products for photoshoots.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
7. Have a NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification or currently hold a marketing position.
8. Have an interest in online and traditional communications campaigns.
9. Have lots of creativity! Experience creating engaging reels, stories and other short form video content on varying platforms is advantageous but not essential.
10. Strong planning and organisation skills.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with others.
12. Strong understanding and practical use of Microsoft Office suite.
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines and have basic experience with email platforms such as DotDigital or Klaviyo, social media platforms and a website Content Management System (CMS).
We’d also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
