We are expanding our Business Development Team and we're looking for sales leaders and sales managers to join our team.
It’s a really exciting time for the Business Development Team at iwoca. After a fantastic year, which made us the 5th most profitable fintech company in the UK, we’ve identified the Business Development Team expansion as a key priority to grow our revenue and achieve our goal of funding 1 million businesses.
We’re looking for you to pitch us for your dream role in the team! Sales is not a linear path, and people have several specialisms. It’s your opportunity to show us where you can make an impact!
Here are some examples of what you may identify and pitch to us:
1. You may be a salesperson with experience selling to accountants, and a hunger to help us grow our larger loan segment (£500k-£1m).
2. You may be a consultative finance expert with an idea to grow our finance offering to customers based on sector, seasonality.
3. You may also be an experienced sales manager, with relevant experience and an ethos that you think will move our team to the next level.
4. Or… you may be an under-appreciated and overlooked top performer at your current role, wanting an environment where you’ll be appreciated and given freedom to carve your own path!
The process
We’ll ask you to apply with a CV and cover letter. In the cover letter, you’ll pitch us a job title, a job description, and tell us why you believe you’re the right person for the role. You’ll also explain what you can add to iwoca to take the team to new heights.
If we like your proposal, the Head of Sales will be in touch to arrange a conversation to further explore your suitability. We’d aim to define the prospective role after this meeting, which would include a job description and salary.
You’ll then enter a final stage formal process to approve your suitability for the team. This will be in an in-person interview and may contain tasks depending on the type of role we believe you match.
