Job summary A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our busy Radiology Department across University Hospital Wales. The Waiting List Appointment Coordinator role within Radiology Department involves the participation in all duties relevant for the day to day operations within the radiology waiting list/appointments office(s) and assisting the department with regards to all waiting list management issues. The Radiology Department is extremely busy with daily deadlines to meet. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and who demonstrates outstanding attention to detail. Proven computer knowledge, organisational skills and the ability to cope well under pressure are all a requirement for the post. As you will be the first point of contact and will be required to liaise with the patient and a wide range of colleagues, clinicians and nursing staff, excellent customer service skills are paramount to this role, as well as having good written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with the public in a professional and approachable manner.
