We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in a recovery-focused rehabilitation unit, providing specialist mental health treatment for men aged 18 and over. Our setting promotes a relaxed, therapeutic atmosphere, ideal for individuals who need treatment away from environments that may encourage risk or problem behaviours. Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist: You will communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, people who access services, carers/supporters/family members, stakeholders, and agencies. You will provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants. You will ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements. You will support the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff. You will develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways. What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist: HCPC registered. Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
