Premier League Productions (PLP) is looking for an experienced, self-starter for the position of Senior Insights Analyst to lead the growing Insights and Analytics department in our fast-paced and active organisation. Your primary role will be to work with the team to interpret big-data sets into actionable insights, offering a pro-active attitude and contributing to the success of our company. The ideal candidate will have a STEM background, excellent analytical skills, with a hunger for new challenges and a desire to develop professionally, an interest in content, particularly football is desired. Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To: Create and present regular story-led reports, collating and visualising data from a range of sources relating to content consumption and broadcaster activity. Lead the ongoing development, maintenance and improvement of reporting processes to support delivery of timely insights across departments. Find avenues to improve efficiencies in services provided to clients using relevant data and insights. Build and maintain relationships with different PLP and Premier League departments to ensure insights are contributing value across the business. Interpret and summarise descriptive datasets to allow data-led decision making for internal and external stakeholders. Ideate quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to harness enriched feedback around PLP content and services. Utilise analytics tools, including GA and Power BI to uncover real-time insights across a wide range of content and services. Research market trends to uncover insights around content consumption on a global and local scale. Maintain and archive all relevant data relating to PLP content and service performance. Collaborate with engineers to maintain and develop reporting dashboards. Vendor onboarding and account management for necessary research tools where applicable. You Will Have The Following Strengths: Relevant analytics or insights experience, ideally within the media, content or sporting industry. Excellent data literacy and visualisation skills Excellent attention to detail, as you will often be the final point of call before reports go out to senior internal and external stakeholders. Capability to work largely autonomously, however be able to recognise where SME input is necessary from other departments. Strong oral and written communicator with experience translating stakeholder requirements into actionable insights Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, to be able to explain technical content to less technical colleagues. Advanced Microsoft office skills, Excel & PowerPoint in particular, and experience with PowerBI. We Would Love If You Also Had The Following Strengths: Intermediate understanding of SQL.
