Join our UKCS - Balfour Beatty Living Places team as a Drainage Delivery Manager and you’ll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you.
What you'll be doing
Working and liaising with the client drainage teams ensuring that
Planning and Delivery of all drainage works on the contract including Cyclical
Cleansing, Investigation, Minor repairs and Capital improvement schemes are
carried out as agreed.
Management of workforce and supply chain partners allocated, ensuring resources
are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Be accountable for your safety, and the safety of your colleagues as part of your
personal safety commitment, Make Safety Personal
Management of multiple teams including Supply Chain resources to deliver cyclical
works and construction schemes.
Work in a way that furthers the values and reputation of Balfour Beatty with
reference to safety, customer care and high-quality service delivery whilst ensuring
all project KPI’s are exceeded.
Managing and auditing Drainage related sub-contractors. Along with attending
Supply Chain 360 review meeting and providing sound feedback and direction.
Leads implementation and development of Contract drainage Quality Plan, RAMS,
SSOW and ITP’s.
Ascertains work requirements and ensures compliance to all relevant Method
Statements, Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments in accordance with
current legislative and contractual requirements.
Provide advice and instruction to Construction team to deal rapidly and effectively
with quality non-conformities and complaints.
Ensure that the quality, HS&W and environmental documentation is established,
maintained and updated as required by the Health, Safety and Work Act.
Undertake / Manage audits of our works ensuring compliance with contractual
requirements.
Liaison with all the required Stakeholders including Local / Highway authorities,
Project management, Clients, and other Delivery Partners.

• Industry knowledge in drainage cleansing, surveying, and Civils projects
• SMSTS
• EUSR 1-5
• Temporary Work Coordinator/Supervisor
• NVQ in Construction Supervision
• People Management
