Overview
Responsible for building high-end Aviation seating switches and lighting products for Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways Airlines.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Building and Testing of products by following assembly drawings and build specifications.
2. Ensure all parts are fully working throughout the assembly of the product and report any manufacturing and/or design errors.
3. Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally).
Skills
1. Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team (essential).
2. Ability to prioritize workload (essential).
3. Working within a fast-paced environment (essential).
4. Attention to detail (essential).
5. Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal (essential).
6. Previous experience of working within another production assembly environment (desirable).
7. Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable).
8. Soldering experience (desirable).
9. Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed (desirable).
