Electrical Design Engineer – Birmingham/Worcester

They are looking for self-motivated Electrical Design Engineers of all levels within building services, working on sustainable electrical design solutions for healthcare, residential, education, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, heritage and more.
The consultancy has offices in both Birmingham City Centre and Worcester, so a great opportunity for those looking to either stay central or looking to work outside of the city centre. All experience levels will be considered for this role from intermediate to principal engineers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sustainable electrical design for various electrical systems and layouts, such as lighting, low voltage, security, fire alarms and more.
2. Meeting with clients, building relationships and being a technical expert for all technical queries.
3. Working independently on own projects whilst also working with electrical design team as well as the wider building services team on larger projects.
4. Depending on level and experience, you will be expected to mentor and train junior/intermediate level staff.
Ideal Candidates
1. Experience within a similar role and ideally within a consultancy environment.
2. Comfortable with client facing meetings and building relationships.
3. Excellent communication and listening skills.
4. Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Dialux.
