We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager based in Newcastle. Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required.
Effective Project Management is at the heart of delivering projects safely and successfully for this innovative Renewable Energy company. You’ll collaborate closely with your multi-discipline project team and other business functions. Using your leadership skills and technical expertise, you’ll drive project execution, manage resources effectively, and mitigate risks proactively. Communication with stakeholders at all levels will be key to fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to delivery, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate contingency plans.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices to enhance project delivery processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.

Your experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience managing engineering projects within the offshore energy sector.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Further information:
• Successful applicants will be based in North East England, working on-site as required.
• Working abroad may be required at times.
• A valid driving licence is needed.
