We are looking for a Local Campaigns Lead to lead on the delivery of local campaigns that aim to protect and improve provisions for deaf children.
What you'll do
- Implement campaign plans to safeguard and improve local services for deaf children and young people
- Advise colleagues on campaigning and influencing tactics to protect the services deaf children depend on
- Build relationships with local voluntary and community sector groups, charities, social enterprises and other organisations
- Produce and circulate written materials to engage key stakeholders in our campaigns
- Identify emerging influencing opportunities based on local insight and support the delivery of targeted changes in line with our organisational strategy
Solid knowledge of local Government, NHS, the voluntary and community sectors
- Demonstrable success in changing public policy or law through either campaigning or influencing activities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong digital skills and a willingness to embrace agile values & principles
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position)
