Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are recruiting a new role of Credit Controller for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave at a growing, owner managed business based on the outskirts of Leeds. Due to the growth of the business, there is a high likelihood of the role going permanent at the end of the initial assignment.
The Role
Duties and responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
1. Opening new accounts, including obtaining credit checks/references/upfront payment
2. Carrying out account reconciliations as required
3. Taking credit card payments from customers
4. Counting accurately recording cash and cheques received from Drivers and Trade Counter
5. Communicating with Sales team
6. Monitoring orders on hold and releasing when required
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we require candidates with the following:
Previous credit control experience
7. Strong excel skills
8. Confident communicator
9. Highly organised

10. £28,000 base salary
11. £100 per month bonus for hitting targets
