Job Title: Retrofit Assessor Reports To: Technical Compliance Director Salary Scale: Up to £35,000 depending on experience Location: Hybrid working available Hours: 40hrs per week (Flexible working) 1. JOB PURPOSE The post holder will support the delivery of our ECO and ORP projects to support the role out of energy efficiency improvements across all housing tenures and carry out retrofit energy assessments and provide energy efficiency advice to a high standard keeping in line with our client’s requirements and with a focus on Social Value. 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035, the specification for the energy retrofit of domestic buildings. To identify all energy efficient measures available at each property. Taking relevant photographs of the property during the survey and uploading them to the central data system. Researching potential energy options suggested to ensure there are no better solutions. Writing up a survey report in a templated format provided by the company and issuing it to the client. Following up with the client to answer any queries. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients. 3. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: The Retrofit Assessor will: Hold ECMK accreditation and be competent on Corelogic software Qualified as Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor Be courteous and polite Have a full clean driving licence and own vehicle for transport Want to join a forward thinking, innovative and supportive company. Person Specification Essential: Qualifications - Minimum of GCSE Grade C in both English and Maths Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor qualification Member of a Trustmark accredited scheme Specialist knowledge and experience Previous experience as a Retrofit Assessor or Coordinator Experience of supporting and assisting individuals from vulnerable communities Knowledge of the housing sector Health and Safety awareness Practical and Intellectual Skills Ability to work on own initiative, planning work schedules and working time Computer literate Highly organised and self motivated Aware of lone working practices Good inter-personal skills to ensure sound communications with clients, customers, and internal staff. Polite and customer focused Personal Circumstances Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work within a team structure Full, clean driving licence Appreciation of equal opportunities in the workplace Understanding of importance of Welsh Language Standards and culture.
