We have a new job opportunity for an Admin Assistant to work in a friendly and welcoming environment.
This is a full-time position, working between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
This is a varied role. You will need to have good communication skills, some computer knowledge, and a confident telephone manner. You will be involved in all aspects of administration, using Microsoft Office/365 and a basic knowledge of Quickbooks. Previous experience would be advantageous but not a requirement.
Daily duties with a view to develop and progress will include:
1. Providing support to our office manager with most admin tasks including basic HR, employee payroll, and maintaining employee records.
2. Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and redirecting to the appropriate person.
3. Daily monitoring of internal and external emails, responding to emails in a professional manner.
4. Data input – purchase orders, delivery notes, and suppliers invoices.
5. General scanning/photocopying and filing.
6. Monitoring and maintaining stationary stock.
Experience: Administrative experience of 1 year preferred.
