What Will Be Your Environment:
The Huddersfield Plant is situated in Yorkshire, with <50 employees
Our site specialises in the manufacture of additives for Lubrizol Performance Coatings. Working to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO-14001:2015 standards, the plant specializes in manufacturing both aqueous and solvent based resins, polymers, dispersants and adhesion promoters for the metals and coatings industries.
Working with our customers, we produce essential ingredients in the formulation of organic and inorganic pigments used in the paints and coatings, printing inks, plastics, wood finishing and metal coatings industries. Our products give the end user extremely efficient particle dispersion, particle size stability and provide the highest level of appearance and performance. The products manufactured at Huddersfield are widely used across the world.
What You'll Do:
As a Manufacturing Scheduler, you are an essential member of the team, as you will support the Production Planning, Subcontractor activities, Intercompany & Purchase for resale activities, liaising closely with Production, Customer Service, QA, Purchasing, and Sales & Marketing following the rules and guidelines set by the Global Supply Chain Organization.
In your role you will order to maximise on-time deliveries whilst keeping inventories on target and optimising levels both in-house and within external locations.
You will co-ordinate the raw material repacking process ensuring raw materials are packed into Plant standard packaging and arrive at the Production Plant on time.
What We're Looking For:
The following accountabilities are identified for the role of Manufacturing Scheduler:
Inventory management, you will maintain the appropriate inventory level, which will allow us to fulfil customers orders on a timely fashion.
You will follow a Manufacturing plan, a correct manufacturing plan will take into account mid and long term plant constraints along with the forecasted demand of our customer’s.
Detailed scheduling, you will ensure weekly scheduling and daily follow up that will integrate plant constraints and vendor response and ensure supply meets planning needs for both finished product and raw material inventory, you will maintain high level of necessary contact and collaboration with manufacturing, logistics and vendors enabling customer satisfaction.

Skills That Make a Difference:
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Inventory Management, Production Planning or Logistics OR
* 1 years experience as engineer or technician in industrial or chemical company
* Understand Planning and Scheduling activities, MRP, ATP, etc
* SAP Knowledge related to planning and scheduling
* Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams
* Have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
* Readily adapt and demonstrate a can-do spirit, a sense of optimism, ownership, and genuine commitment
* Always act integrity
* Demonstrate great communication skills
* The ability to collaborate (globally and locally)
* Be result orientated
* Have the ability to influence others
