Maintenance Technician - Night Shift, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Amazon is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our new Fulfilment Center (FC) in Cranbourne.
Please note the shift pattern is based on business need, rotating every 6 months from Wednesday to Saturday | Sunday to Wednesday (10 hour shifts, 4 days per week).

Key Job Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
2. Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.
3. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams, and work efficiently to fix the issue.
4. Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
5. Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
6. Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
A Day in the Life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, allowing them to respond quickly to any machinery issues. You’ll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites’ equipment to ensure it’s working safely. As an RME Technician, you’ll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You’ll also make suggestions for long-term improvements. Working alongside senior colleagues, you’ll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and general building maintenance.
About the Team
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team keeps our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner).
2. Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
3. Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
4. Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
5. Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
6. Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Experience with sortation machines.
- Experience with maintaining/configuring barcode scanners.
- Experience with print and apply machines.
