Position : General Teaching Assistant Location : Blackburn, Lancashire Salary : Competitive, depending on experience Contract : Full-time, Term-time only Start Date : As soon as possible Key Responsibilities : Assist teachers with classroom management and the delivery of lessons Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who may require additional help Support the development of students’ literacy and numeracy skills Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources Foster a positive, nurturing environment to help students build confidence and achieve their best Assist with the supervision of students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Desirable : A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) Why Join Us?
