Job summary The Grantham Practice is a medium sized (9000 patients) GP surgery located in Stockwell. We are looking for a practice nurse to join our friendly, sociable team. Our nurse is sadly leaving the practice and we are looking for someone driven and hardworking to replace her. Main duties of the job Clinical skills: Cytology Immunisations (adult and child) Diabetes care Annual reviews for long term conditions Dressings and wound management Knowledge: Must have knowledge of long term conditions Awareness of clinical governance issues in primary care Accountability of own role IT skills Infection control and cold chain Other: Highly motivated Able to work on own and as part of a team Flexibility Self-directed practitioner About us Who we are PMS practice with 2 Partners and 5 salaried GPs The Practice has a Nurse, HCA, pharmacist, phlebotomist & care coordinators.
