Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Service Administration Assistant for their head office in Amersham. With a competitive salary and a team bonus scheme, this is a great opportunity for an experienced admin professional interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting the Service Supervisor with all administrative tasks
2. Being the first point of contact for service support calls
3. Logging and recording all service calls for material handling equipment
4. Plan and distribute service repairs to Engineers or to Sub-contractors as required
5. Prepare estimates and arrange follow-up work with Engineers / Customers
Requirements
The company has a preference for an individual with a background within an administrative role from material handling or a closely related industry such as plant hire, automotive, or powered access. The successful candidate would be a versatile individual who is looking to develop their career and is interested in assisting with some sales activity. You will be proactive in your approach and be able to work both on your own and as a member of a progressive team. The company also has a preference for an individual with an administrative qualification; however, this is not a necessity.
