This is an exciting opportunity for band 6 physio to join the Community Respiratory Service on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The post will be for a 12 month duration. It will be a great opportunity for the post holder to strenghten their respiratory knowledge and skills in pulmonary rehab and assessing and treating patients with long term respiratory conditions such as COPD, Asthma, ILD and Bronchiectasis. The post is uitable for a band 5 whishing to develop further in this area or an established band 6. You will be working with a very well-established team of specilaisy nurses, physios, OT, dietitian, assistant practitioners and support workers who will be able to support your journey with us. This post is for 35.25 hours a week and you will be part of a rota that covers weekends and bank holidays. The main duites of the job include triaging, assessing and treating patients with long term respiratory conditons in the Sandwell area in the community. This work may include being part of the team that delivers the pulmonary rehab programme which we hold in 4 leisure centres across the borough. You will work as part of a team, but also work independently with support when required.
