TXM Recruit are working with a business to recruit a Project Manager for a rail refurbishment company.
Responsible for all areas of assigned project delivery including but not limited to:
1. Tracking & reporting on performance against the project plan to agreed timescales.
2. Recording and managing project issues and risks.
3. Supporting the HM Managers with the management of project change.
4. Tracking project finance through periodic dashboards.
5. Managing stakeholders and liaising with suppliers.
6. Initiating project closure, including conducting lessons learnt and benefits reviews.
7. Coordinating project meetings and managing subsequent actions.
8. Ensuring HM projects adhere to the processes, controls, and structures detailed in the HM Process Document.
Experience:
1. Experience in a Project Coordinator / Administrator or Project Manager role.
2. Good understanding of traction and rolling stock and rail vehicle maintenance activities (Desirable).
3. Experience of stakeholder management.
Qualifications:
1. Project management qualification, APM, Prince 2, or other (Required).
2. Training in Lean techniques such as Six Sigma (Desirable).
