Your role will involve working closely with clients, importers, and exporters as a trusted agent to coordinate safe, cost-effective, and efficient transportation of antiques and high-value items. An interest in handling unique and valuable shipments is preferred, along with patience and a strong problem-solving mind-set.

Responsibilities
1. Communicating with clients throughout the shipping process and collaborating with the Hemisphere team to provide logistics solutions.
2. Handling day-to-day Import ocean freight operations and customs processes.
3. Building and maintaining client relations for continued business.
4. Coordinating final mile delivery requirements with third-party suppliers and in-house team.
5. Providing general customs advice and creating customs and import ocean documents.
Requirements
1. Ideally a background in a road/sea/Air freight role working for a freight forwarder would be highly desirable - This however is not essential.
2. Knowledge of customs procedures.
3. Understanding of AEO procedures, Bills of Lading, Inco Terms, and general customs compliance.
4. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
