We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our Community Nursing teams in the Durham and Derwentside localities. The teams provide a service between the hours of 8am and 9pm 7 days a week on a duty roster. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Successful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC; additional training specific to the role can be provided.
Main duties of the job
The Community nursing team provide both planned and reactive care including Urgent Community Response.
Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide a variety of nursing care to patients; including wound care, administration of medication, palliative care, management of bowel and catheter care. The role involves assessment of patient care needs, care planning, delivery of care and review. The successful candidate will be required to work independently as part of the wider Nursing team reporting back to senior staff on duty.

* 1st Level Registration with the NMC (Adult)

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year, per annum, pro rata
