YOUTH WORKER:Salary/Rate: £23,000 - £25,000/annum Amazing BenefitsLocation: AbertillerySalary: £23,000 to £25,000 plus mileage plus amazing benefitsWe are looking for skilled youth worker who has a passion to make a change and to provide a learning and employability framework to Youth learners, ensuring the attainment of positive outcomes through the delivery of classroom and vocational assessment and training.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct initial interviews including assessment activities with learners using a range of toolsDeliver induction to all allocated new starts including digital platforms/curriculum/qualifications.Plan the learning and assessment process with learners, observing and recording assessments completing all relevant documentation.Complete and maintain accurate learner recordsDeliver sessions which include direct teaching and the use of a variety of teaching strategies .Develop and utilise lesson plans for each taught session incorporating topics relating to whole class teaching, individual, paired, group and differentiated activitiesProvide focused support to those learners who are pre-entry level, or may have specific learning needsMaintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice and companys Code of ConductSkills Required:Full driving licence with use of own vehicleRelevant training experience and qualification(s)Relevant occupational qualificationsExperience of working with young peopleQualified or with the potential and willingness to work towardsCAVA qualification or equivalent qualificationESW Communication Level 2AON Level 28375 practitioners Award L3 or equivalentOccupational Experience / Knowledge and Technical competence in route ways deliveringWilling to work towards a assessing qualificationThe Benefits:30 days of annual leave (rising with length of service)Health care scheme35 hours of working week,Discounts for retail and gym membership, profit-sharing scheme, life insuranceEmployee of the month awards, length of service recognition, and much more.Due to the high volume of applications Recruited UK receives, we will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
