Registered Manager Children's Home Location: Huyton Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM We are seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Manager to lead a 28-day crisis children's home, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people in need. About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and support for children experiencing crisis situations. You will lead a skilled team, implement care plans, and maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, all while striving for the best outcomes for the young people in your care. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the staff team, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies. Develop and implement individualised care plans for young people. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance. Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and professionals. Manage budgets and resources to ensure smooth operations. What We're Looking For: Essential: NVQ 3 – Level 3 Diploma (QCF) qualified in Children and Young People's workforce (or equivalent) Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding protocols, and crisis intervention strategies. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
