Job Description About the Role : We are seeking compassionate and experienced Behavioural Support Staff to work in educational settings across Scarborough. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them overcome challenges and thrive in a learning environment. Key Responsibilities : Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural challenges. Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and support plans. Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Encourage students to develop self-regulation, emotional resilience, and positive social interactions. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and support teams. Ensure a safe and structured environment for learning. Requirements : Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (essential). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a calm approach when handling challenging behaviours. Ability to build rapport with students and foster positive relationships. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or social care (desirable but not essential).
